Cesar Creek
State Park
2026 Portfolio

“A year‑round sanctuary of woodlands, lakes, and open skies”

Cesar Creek State Park is a versatile outdoor canvas just southwest of Dayton, Ohio, where every season offers a distinct photographic mood. From the thawing marshes of early spring, to the golden haze of summer sunsets, crisp autumn colors along the lake, and the quiet monochrome of winter mornings, the park invites me to return again and again to capture its changing light and textures.

Year‑round subjects include the 1,243‑acre lake with its shoreline birds, open hunting fields that glow in backlight, forest trails framed by trees, and the expansive skies that make this a reliable spot for astrophotography during clear nights. My goal is to document this place as a living portfolio—showing how one location can yield macro details, wildlife moments, architectural structures, and dramatic sky compositions across the seasons and times of day.
